My commentary

My 468 page Danish commentary was published by Credo Forlag yesterday, September 30th, 2010.

The commentary features a 100 page introduction which deals with the traditional questions of introduction as well as a lengthy summary of the theology of the Book of Revelation.

A new website, “Den sidste bog“, allows for interaction between readers and with the author. The website has more information on the commentary and the author. The author’s Danish translation of Revelation is available to registered users.

The entry “DOMITIAN!!!!!” displays two very fine photographs of a coin with Domitian.

Ethelbert Stauffer was a German Protestant theologian who held that gematria, the numerology of the Hebrew language and alphabet, could be used to explain the Biblical number 666. Stauffer computed this “Number of the Beast” using the short form of Domitian’s names and titles: Imperator Caesar Domitianus Augustus Germanicus…
